Is there a name for Jack Frost and Elsa? Are they put together because of their winter powers?
Yes, the people call them Jelsa.
Yes, their winter powers are the most important reason why the people put them together. Of course it’s their appearance: blue eyes, white hair… I understand, they look like soul-mates, and the fan-art and everything is so beautiful, they’ll understand each other and sure having fun with the ice and snow.
But I’m a Jackunzel fan and, well, we think about them like father and daughter. And other people think about them like brother and sister, everything is a bit confusing. It’s a few think whatever you want to. But when you love so much one OTP (jackunzel) it’s hard to let it go… and I don’t want to. Just look at them:
But just think whatever you want, don’t matter what other people say, just be yourself and believe in what you love or think is right ^^)
Dude I’m gonna cry why the fuck did I just write that?
It wasn’t like she could help ignoring him, he was invisible to all and she wasn’t any special exception to that rule even though he desperately wishes her to be. Still, he can’t help but feel hurt every time she walks through him like he’s nothing but air.

Pairing: (One sided) Jackunzel
The first time he saw her was by chance, he’d been flying away from the kingdom of Corona after successfully bringing along another winter when he’d spotted a tower in the middle of an incredibly secluded area that he guessed had gone unseen by anyone but him considering just how well hidden it was and out of curiosity he flew down to investigate it.
What he saw when he flew down to a peek inside a large window that seemed to be the towers only opening he spotted a little girl who could be no older than the age of five painting a picture of a woman with dark colored curly hair with a concentrated look on her chubby face.
Her hair was the color of gold and seemed to be growing faster than she was because it was already brushing against the floor. He’d spent the rest of that fateful day watching her go through the little routine that she’d begun to set for herself with a smile and had left shortly before night fell with a plan to come back and maybe learn more about the odd child locked up so far away from the rest of the world.
The second time he saw her was a whole year after the first time when it was once again time for the kingdom of Corona to receive winter. It was only when he saw her tower again did he remember her and he once again moved into the tower. This time the little girl was not alone, she was with an older woman with dark curly hair and a comely figure that looked nothing like the young girl she was holding and Jack felt genuine surprise when the little golden haired child called the other Mother.
This first shock was nothing compared to the shock he felt when the girl’s Mother asked her to sing for her as she began to brush her hair and the little one did so, causing her hair to shine not like it had caught the light of the sun but like it was the sun.
Jack had left that day feeling confused and fascinated and he knew that this time he certainly would not forget to come and peer into this tower that housed a little girl that was far more odd than he’d originally thought.
The next time Jack came back to the tower that was becoming familiar to him barely three weeks had passed and on this visit he learned her name. It was Rapunzel and it suited her so perfectly in such a strange way that he found himself laughing.
She didn’t hear his laughter but she had turned to look in his direction. He’d been standing next to her as she stared out her window and at the outside world when her name had been called by her Mother and she’d felt his icy breathe dance across her cheek.
His laughter stopped when her gaze settled on him and he felt his insides lurch with hope. A moment later though she was stumbling off to eagerly answer the call of her Mother and he was flying off into the sunset and away from her tower, feeling disappointed.
For a second he’d allowed himself to hope that someone as magical as Rapunzel would be able to see him but with how bad his luck had been so far he didn’t know why he’d let himself feel such a pesky thing as hope in the first place. Even if it had been only for the briefest of moments.
He didn’t visit that tower for a long time after that incident but as fate would have it one day he found himself curious enough to once again dare a visit. He wished to see how the girl was fairing.
Once he saw her he was surprised at how much she’d grown, she’d shot up like a weed in those few short years he’d been gone but he could tell she still had a lot more growing to do! After all she could only be eleven by how many years had passed since he’d last seen her. He wondered if her hair could possibly grow anymore than it had but considering how it glowed and healed he was guessing that the normal rules of hair growth didn’t apply to her.
The thing that stuck with him when he was flying away from the tower after his latest unnoticed visit was the speech Rapunzel’s Mother had given her about why she wasn’t allowed to go outside. He admitted that her concerns did have some merit to them but the woman hadn’t seemed….sincere.
He tried to shake that feeling off.
Jack found himself growing attached to the girl he’d begun to refer to as ‘Punz’ and this attachment only grew as the years went on. Unbeknownst to her he spent most of his days with her, in her tower where she felt so alone and detached from the world. He felt that way to and wished there was a way to let her know she wasn’t alone in her feelings. But there wasn’t.
That fact always bothered Jack but it wasn’t like he could tell her that, so sometimes he’d stay away feeling hurt and wondering why he even came to visit, if he stopped she wouldn’t notice, but he couldn’t, despite her not even being aware of his existence he felt as if she needed him there in some odd way.
So he stayed, and he watched her grow from a sweet little girl to a beautiful young woman and before he knew it his heart wasn’t his anymore. It was hers, even if she didn’t know it.
He knew only pain could from this new form of affection and attachment to the girl he’d watched grow up but he knew he couldn’t stop it. She was like sunshine, warm, wonderful and addicting. And he knew that if he tuned out her sweet voice as she talked to Pascal and forced himself to fly out of that tower and as far away as he could go that he might be able to forget her over time. But, he didn’t want to. And he didn’t try.
For years it was just Gothel, Rapunzel, Pascal and Jack in that tower. Until a day that Jack considered to be the beginning of the end happened, that day was the day Flynn Rider stumbled into the life of Rapunzel.
Jack had been suspicious of Flynn as soon as he saw him and for good reason to! He was the most notorious thief Corona had ever seen and he was the exact type of person Jack would have killed to keep away from him Rapunzel. He’d been more suspicious of him than he had been of Gothel and that was a very serious thing.
When Rapunzel basically forced the thief into being her personal tour guide he’d gone with the two without thought, he needed to keep an eye out for Rapunzel, Flynn was not to be trusted.
Jack was proved right when the first place Flynn took her to was a bar filled to the brim with criminals and low lives and he’d been about ready to freeze him to death when he’d seen the terrified look on his ‘Punzie’s’ face. But, surprisingly all Rapunzel got out of that situation was friends. He’d been relieved.
Then he went into a panic attack when Flynn put Rapunzel in danger, yet again. He’d stuck close to Rapunzel during their little escape from the guards and two ugly red heads, he was trying his best to keep her safe but he didn’t really need to, she could handle herself surprisingly well.
They’d all managed to escape in one peace only to meet another problem. Which was drowning. Jack had felt an odd sense of deja vu as the water had started to rise and on instinct had tried to wrap an arm around Rapunzel to comfort her. It had slipped right through her and he felt a kind of icy rage when Flynn did the same thing but was actually able to touch her.
When they escaped a watery grave thanks to Rapunzel the first thing Jack did was storm off. Later when he got his head back together and remembered that Flynn, aka Eugene, was dangerous, he hightailed it back to camp to check up on Rapunzel and tried not to turn Eugene into an ice block when he saw that they were having a moment.
He’d had to do the same thing when Gothel showed up and had a little chat with Rapunzel. The woman was deranged and hurting Rapunzel and while he didn’t like Eugene one bit and hated that Rapunzel liked him who was Gothel to burst Rapunzel’s bubble. The reason Rapunzel should drop her feelings for the thief were not because she wasn’t good enough it was because the object of her affection wasn’t good enough for her.
Jack had wanted to tell her this, but he couldn’t, just like he’d never been able to tell her anything else. But a small part of him was almost glad he couldn’t reassure her. He didn’t want her to pursue Eugene because who couldn’t help but to fall in love with a girl so extraordinary as her! If Eugene liked her back Jack didn’t know what he would do.
All he could do was hope he didn’t.
But when had his luck ever been good.
Of course Eugene had to like her back. Of course it had to be even more than that on both sides, of course they had to share a romantic day together and of course they finished it off with staring into each others eyes as they leaned ever closer and Eugene would steal the first kiss that should have been his.
Jack left the scene with so many emotions flowing through him he couldn’t separate any of them apart. He did know what they were called all together though, the word was heartbroken.
When he came back onto the scene it was to find Gothel rescuing Rapunzel from two goons and he felt sick to his stomach, Eugene had used Rapunzel. Eugene had played her emotions like a violin and had crushed her. He watched her cry with sadness and anger, Flynn had, had the chance that Jack would never get in a thousand years and it had meant nothing to him.
He wished he could comfort Rapunzel as she sobbed.
He really wished that he could have warned Rapunzel to look out as Gothel lurched for the younger girl and he wished more than anything that he could reach out and protect Rapunzel as she tried to fight the woman who had lied to her for her entire life.
He’d never thought he would have felt happy when he heard the voice of Flynn but that happiness dissipated as he caught the evil look on Gothel’s face. Just like all the times he couldn’t speak to Rapunzel, he couldn’t speak to Flynn and he died a little inside at the look on Rapunzel’s face as she rushed over to the man she loved who lay dying on the floor.
That look was one of heartbreak and it only worsened when the only means of saving Eugene was gone, torn away by one quick swipe of broken glass.
Jack tried to press his feelings of jealousy down as the two exchanged last words but even his love for Rapunzel couldn’t wipe away that selfish little voice in the back of his head that thought that he should be the one that got to get those words spoken to him. But he reminded himself that Flynn was dying and had just saved the love of his life from that awful witch and felt gratitude towards him.
He really had loved Rapunzel just like he did.
Jack didn’t know whether to be happy when Eugene didn’t actually die or whether to be upset. He decided on happy because if Rapunzel was happy, than he could be happy. Even if he wasn’t the cause of her happiness.
He was almost content with just Rapunzel’s happiness for a long time. Until Eugene proposed to Rapunzel and all the hope Jack ever had of Rapunzel suddenly being able to see him and fall in love with him were dashed to bits.
The last time Jack ever saw her was shortly before she walked down the aisle to her eagerly waiting fiancee.
Rapunzel was the first woman Jack loved and as he sat in front of her grave stone, head in his hands as he cried silently he vowed she would be the only one. He didn’t think he could ever take such a heartbreak again.

Regina Hall is a comedic genius and a Goddess.
Imagine your OTP and their friends skating. Person A doesn’t know how to do so, and one of their friends pranks them by pushing them off with enough force that they move forward a few meters. When Person A tries to regain control, they slip and fall flat on their back, prompting Person B, who just noticed what happened, to rush to their side. Person B offers their hand to help A stand up, but A falls back again, this time making B fall on top of them as well.

Rapunzel had gripped onto the railing that traced along the ring’s walls as soon as she slowly ambled her way onto the slippery surface of the ice and she was not letting go any time soon. Even moving along the side of the ring with the support of the railing and at a pace slower than slow she felt as if she would fall and break something.
Her attitude towards this activity had gone from excited to hold-her-breathe-nervousness, rather quickly and she silently cursed the friend who’d said they should go ice-skating instead of to a movie as she nearly slipped yet again.
As Rapunzel tried to focus on not falling on her face and embarrassing herself (even though plenty of other people were doing so all around her) her friend Merida skated up beside her and watched the other struggle for moment before she cleared her throat to get Rapunzel’s attention.
"Ye’ know tha’ ya’ won’t ever learn to ska’ holdin’ on ta’ the railin’ like tha’, right?" Merida asked with an amused smirk and Rapunzel’s cheeks took on a dark shade of pink that had nothing to do with the chilly air of the ring.
"Well…..that might be true but I don’t think me letting go of the ring would be the best of ideas considering the fact that I can’t even stand right now." Merida’s ears had to strain to hear Rapunzel’s answer, it seemed the blonde was too preoccupied with glaring at her feet to be bothered with trying to be heard over the pop music that was playing.
"Ye’ got a point there." Merida conceded before a devilish grin came over her face as she got an idea to help Rapunzel out and if the other had been looking up a chill would have run down her spine at the expression. "Bu’ you’ll never have fun hangin’ onta’ th’ wall so maybe ya’ need a little encouraging shove!” On the last word Merida pushed Rapunzel off the wall and the blonde let out a startled scream as she moved forward, her arms waving about wildly as she tried to keep herself up right, her little scream gained a number of curious gazes that looked away after a moment but two people didn’t.
One, was Hiccup Haddock and the other, was Jack Frost.
Jack and Hiccup had both been skating around the ring together, occasionally glancing over at Rapunzel who had told them and Merida that she didn’t want to slow them down with her amateur level of ability and with how she’d looked a few minutes ago when they’d last passed her by it didn’t seem likely that her and her new best friend, the railing would be apart anytime soon.
So it was quite a shocker to see her now, skating along at the speed she was going, or, well she didn’t really look like she was skating, her stance was completely wrong and she looked panicked beyond believe, but whatever it was that she was doing was better than what she did a few seconds later, which was fall on her back, and from the looks of it, it had been a hard fall to.
Jack snapped out of his shock faster than Hiccup or Merida and skated over to the fallen blonde quicker than she could even register the pain from her little trip. When she blinked open her eyes she was met with the worried face of her crush and close friend leaning so close to her his breathe waned over her face and it subsequently went up in flames.
"Rapunzel are you okay?" Jack asked as he brushed a stray lock of her golden hair out of her face and looked her over quickly to try and see if she had any noticeable injuries.
"Uh…." She struggled to find her voice as she stared into his blue eyes but after a moment she realized her silence was causing him to freak out and she nodded. "Y-yeah I’m fine!"
"I’m glad to hear that, for a second there, it looked like you were seriously hurt!" Jack laughed and felt his worry ease away as his shoulders relaxed.
"I can imagine why." She laughed to before she realized that she wasn’t feeling the cold of the ice seep through her clothes and realized Jack was holding her in his arms and the laughter went nervous. He seemed to notice that he was still holding her when she did and he quickly but carefully sat her on the ground before standing up and offering her his hands.
"Thank you." She smiled up at him as she took his offered hands and he helped her up, but right as she was almost totally up right the tip of her skate’s blade caught a rather deep groove in the ice and she went toppling to the ground once more.
Unfortunately she brought Jack with her and they landed in a most uncomfortable position with him looming over her, one knee between her thighs and his hands on either side of her head to keep himself from landing on top of her completely.
For all of five seconds Jack praised his quick reflexes but once he heard a familiar laugh coming from a familiar red-head and a few snickers making their way out of a skinny freckled boy Jack blushed just as darkly as the mortified girl laying under him.
If only his reflexes had been quick enough to keep them both from falling over in the first place.
still, its horrible that movies and media in general gives you this idea that if you’re a male and you’re not attractive you can still score incredibly hot girls by being funny and “yourself” but if you’re a girl and you’re not attractive nobody’s gonna touch you forever
